🟢 ABOUT TravelHARLEM Guides

TravelHARLEM with US!

Welcome! I'm Antonia Badon.

I'm a NYC Gold Star Licensed Sightseeing Guide, Cultural Historian, Public Humanities Practitioner, Author, Producer, and proud Culturepreneur with one simple mission—to help people fall in love with Harlem.

For years, I've shared Harlem's stories through children's books, public art, theater, radio, and cultural programming because I believe every neighborhood has treasures worth discovering. Harlem is one of those extraordinary places where music, literature, faith, resilience, creativity, and community changed the world.

It has been my honor to receive the WBLS/WLIB Circle of Sisters Community Honors Award for Cultural Tourism, recognizing my work introducing visitors and residents alike to Harlem's remarkable cultural legacy.

When you join one of my TravelHARLEM Open Air Tours, you're not just checking landmarks off a list. We'll walk the same streets where legends dreamed, created, organized, and inspired generations. We'll pause, ask questions, share stories, laugh together, and experience Harlem as a living neighborhood filled with history, beauty, and possibility.

Every Harlem tour begins at my public art installation, A→Harlem, where we'll meet, take a photo together, and start a journey through one of the world's most celebrated cultural communities.

I can't wait to welcome you to Harlem and share the neighborhood I love.

Let's walk Harlem together.

Hello! i'm Fernando Natalici

All tours are guided in English.

Fernando Natalici is the owner and creative director of XT Design & Productions, a Brazilian-born photographer, designer, television producer, and longtime New York City visual historian. A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology (1981), Fernando has spent decades documenting New York City's neighborhoods, people, and cultural life through photography, television, and public art.

As a longtime creative collaborator with Antonia Badon, Fernando has contributed his talents to numerous cultural productions, including serving as Set and Prop Designer for the Off-Broadway production ZORA! His expertise also helps TravelHARLEM welcome international visitors by providing Spanish, Portuguese, and French translation support.

Fernando's stunning New York City photography and fine art prints have become favorites among both visitors and longtime New Yorkers. His work captures the city's rich history, iconic landmarks, and everyday beauty through a unique artistic lens.

Take Home a Piece of New York

Support Fernando's work by visiting his Saturday artist gallery and storefront art market, where you'll find original New York City photography, limited-edition prints, and one-of-a-kind artwork available for purchase. Whether you're looking for a memorable keepsake or a beautiful gift, Fernando's collection offers an authentic way to take a piece of New York home with you.

If you are booking for an international group, school, or travel party, please inquire about language support when reserving your tour.
